As part of our digitalization journey, our automation engineers completed a SIMIT education last week to learn how to emulate and simulate.
We are developing new ways of working to offer our customers the best solutions for the future as part of our Industry 4.0 concept. We see great benefits in performing emulations and simulations early in projects. Mechanical engineers and automation engineers will work closer together, and they will also work together earlier than before. With this new way of working, we see shortened lead times and less deviations as two great benefits.
Alex On, an electrical engineer from Lunds University, is joining us on this exciting journey by writing his bachelor’s thesis at Automationspartner. The subject of the thesis is to prototype a digital twin with SIMIT and TIA Portal to accelerate error checking in PLC code. We thank Alex for the great work.
